22nd June 2020
Dear Parents and carers
I hope you are keeping well during these unusual times. School has been happy to welcome back some more pupils recently as per Government guidance and the children in school have been really settled and have been producing some lovely and creative work. I am very proud of them for their resilience and ability to settle back in so quickly. Thank you for supporting your children with this too.
While we cannot yet open our doors to everyone, we are hoping that families are well and know most people have now had chance to speak to their child’s class teacher. It has been so nice to hear how everyone is. Please remember you can communicate directly with your child’s class teacher using the class email address on the home learning class pages. Class teachers will be happy to hear from you and support you in accessing the home learning.
Class teachers have also been busy collecting parent/carer email addresses – it is vital that we have a full set of these in school so we can communicate with all parents successfully, especially now while children are at home.
As soon as we find out how schools plan to re-open in September, we will be in touch to let you know. We will also be contacting you in the coming weeks about how we will say a goodbye to our Year Six pupils, information regarding your child’s class teacher in September and also how we will be issuing reports this year.
The school office is open daily but for reduced hours, if you need to speak to someone in school and can’t make contact through class email or the school office please use the emergency contact numbers on the website for Mr Price and Mrs Webberley Holmes.
We will be in touch again soon, thank you for your on-going support at this time.
