Our new library is now OPEN!
The year five and six school councilors were joined by author Amanda Malben and some of our school governors to officially open the library. Once the ribbon was cut, the children took no time in finding a book and a comfy spot to sit and read.
The new library has a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books and has lots of comfy areas for children to sit and relax with a book. Local Usborne Books organiser and parent Emma Kinagy also attended, donating some new books to add to the colleciton. Our new ‘book buddies’ baskets have lots of soft toys for children to snuggle up with. Everybody is really excited to start using the new space and there are lots of exciting things planned for the children to take part in.
