Now that Summer is finally here, children have been thoroughly enjoying themselves outside. The children love learning outdoors, they always have so much to explore. Recently, as part of our learning, Reception children planted some beans. They planted them in small pots, then when they began to grow they transferred them outside. The children, regularly, watered the plants with the help of a grown up. The bean plant grew and grew! Just like in the Jack and the Beanstalk story. Soon flowers started to grow, and the children said their would be nectar inside them. One day, as the children were watering they noticed something growing, they saw real beans growing! The children were so happy with their very own produce. Well done children!
