This week the children in Nursery have been learning all about healthy breakfasts. We have talked about the things that we like to eat in the morning which are good for us, such as porridge, corn flakes and yoghurt with fruit. We have also talked about the food that we like to have as an occasional treat, such as chocolate, cake and sweets, which taste delicious but contain a lot of sugar. We know that these are not very good for us in the morning, and to make the best start to the day we need a healthy breakfast!
