SoundLab-Cov visited Year 6 on Monday 26th March. The children had a fantastic afternoon listening to some performances, learning about different instruments, taking part in some singing and rapping and some even getting the chance to perform their own pieces with the band! It was AMAZING!

SoundLab-Cov are currently looking for young people (aged 10-16) from a range of musical interests and styles including: spoken word, dance, electronic, jazz, classical and more. They’re inviting you to come and join their new project ‘SoundLab-Cov’ where you will work with a team of professional musicians to develop your own music making skills. Dates are: 21st & 28th April, 12th & 19th May, then the 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th June 2018.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our year 6’s and the best thing is that IT IS FREE! if you’re not sure if it is for you or not then go and try the open day session on Tuesday 10th April 10am-12pm at City College.
