This week the Reception children have been learning about things that are long and short, and how eggs hatch – with a little help from some dinosaurs! These pre-historic animals created a huge mess in the classrooms, leaving footprints all over the place. The children have used these footprints to measure things around the school, comparing their size and working out which ones are longer or shorter. They have also looked at some dinosaur eggs and learned about how dinosaurs might have looked after them to ensure they hatch safely.
