A group of 19 year 5 and 6 children completed an outdoor adventurous activities course this week. We had great fun learning new skills like bed-making and making sandwiches as well as taking part in more adventurous activities. We challenged ourselves with lots of outdoor activities such as canoeing, mountain walking and mine exploration as well as learning map skills and finding our way round a route in a forest. We also visited the beach and scrambled over the rocks. Everyone enjoyed an ice cream and the sun even made a brief appearance whilst we were on the beach. Well done to all the children. They were a credit to the school and learned a lot.
