As we went higher and higher the wind nearly blew us off, however we made it to the top. I didn’t know what to feel,it was like I was the first person on the mountain. The wild, wind was trying to push us over, and the miniature particles of the rain were like pins on our faces. It took 2 hrs to climb the Moel Y Hydd and 2hrs to get down, everyone was moaning but I wanted to climb again because of the epic mine. However,we had to come down some time.

One Thought to “At the top of Moel Y Hydd!”

The mine is outstanding and incredibly challengining. The feeling of being ‘on top of the world’ makes the gale force winds and the stinging rain all worth while. I could also happily stay up there forever, away from the busy city!
