On Friday 3rd May children in years three and four invited their Dads and Male Carers into school for an afternoon of arts, craft and fun! The children and their Dads/Male Carers made clay models, puppets and pictures based around the fabulous Maurice Sendak book ‘Where the Wild things are.’

The afternoon ended with an enthusiastic reading of the story which included all children participating and creating actions to go along with the tale.

Many thanks to Derek Grimley, Coventry Talk Now Programme Manager for facilitating such a fun event, and also to our wonderful children and their great Dads/Male Carers for a really fun afternoon!

Look out for the next Fun for Fathers event for year five next half term.
