On Friday 19 April we played the Harry Shaw quarter-final V St Mary & St Benedict.
The match was very tense, however our team with the most possession won. We had an amazing crowd supporting us which made us believe we could win.
St Mary & St Benedict team was the toughest opponent we played this season by far, it really tested our team work ability. One of our fans named Anes quoted that ” we played our best football ever”.
In the first half, our saviour Nassir pulled off a great save which kept us in the game. In the last 5 minutes of the second half Yaqoub sent a great ball into the box from a free kick, which landed to Owais who smashed it into the back of the net to score the only goal of the match.
We are now in the semi-final and WE WANT TO WIN IT!
